William Dale Sealy, age 87, passed away peacefully, Sunday, May 21, 2017.

He was the son of LeRoy and Loretta (nee Dolan) Sealy.

Dale was a graduate of Joliet Catholic High School. For many years, he and his brother owned and operated Sealy Shell Service in Crest Hill. He later worked at the Citgo Refinery in Lemont, retiring after 30 years of service.

He was an avid golfer and enjoyed walking, attending his grandchildren's many activities and wintering in Florida. He also enjoyed being a member of the Wagon Dragons Camping Group.

Dale was also an active member of his community, serving as one of the original Alderman for Crest Hill, from its incorporation in 1960, and for many years thereafter. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father, and a fun and caring grandfather and great-grandfather.

Surviving are his daughters, Debbie (Larry) Frigo of Crest Hill, and Janet (Joe) Cernugel of Joliet; four grandchildren, Larry Frigo, Jeanette (Ed) Ruettiger, Joe Cernugel and Danny Cernugel; and his great-grandson, Lil' Buddy, Eddie Ruettiger.

Dale was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Phyllis (nee Killdoo) Sealy (1992); one son, William Dale 'Billy' Sealy, Jr. (1963); and his parents and siblings.
