He was born July 24, 1958, at Kirksville, Missouri the son of Arley Edward and Emma Evelyn Pierce Patterson.
Surviving are his mother of Lewistown, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dee R. Pierce of Lewistown; two brothers, Aoan Ray Patterson, and Richard Alex Patterson, both of Lewistown; five sisters, Sandra Kay Webb, Bonnie Patterson, Sue Patterson, all of Lewistown, Mary Jeanette, Mrs. Ron Conger of Pittsfield, Illinois, Diane, Mrs. Kenny Bugh of Canton, Missouri, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his father on November 19, 1977 and his grandparents, William and Mary Jane Patterson.
Mr. Patterson had lived his life in Lewistown, where he attended Lewistown School and Highland High School.
He was engaged in construction work with the Conger construction Company at Lewistown, Missouri.
Funeral Services were held Sunday, July 19, 1981, at 3 p.m. at Hudson-Rimer funeral chapel in Edina, with Rev. George Keppner, Oskaloosa, Iowa, officiating and burial was in Bible Grove cemetery southwest of Memphis, Missouri. Pallbearers were Steve Kurk, Terry Lewis, Kenny Bugh, Tim Neisen, Frank Cottrell, and Steve McKenzie. Honorary bearers were Mike McKenzie, Marvin (Unreadable), Rick Pruett, David Lay, Richard Patterson, Lance Holbert, David Marquette, Steve Bugh, Doug Raleigh, Ernie Raleigh and Kenny Goodwin.
