Davy Lee Hair, age 74, Billings, Missouri passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017, in his home, with family at his side. He was born February 18, 1943, in Stone County, Missouri, to Homer and Goldie (Robinson) Hair.
Davy was united in marriage to Edna F. Stewart on March 17, 1962 and they have made their home in the Stone County area.
Davy worked at the Crane Casket Company for several years until the business moved to Marshfield, Missouri. At that time Davy and Edna owned and operated a dairy farm and later a dog kennel.
As a nature lover, he studied and grew a variety of herbs and learned how to use the herbs to enhance the flavor in food. In years past, he grew and harvested tobacco for his use. He enjoyed hunting coons, coyote, and deer. He also was an avid fisherman. Another hobby was painting cars.
Davy was preceded in death by his parents. His survivors include, his wife, Edna; two sons, Jay Frank (Lori) Hair, and Larry Hair; two granddaughters, Rebecca Schrodt (Cameron) and Tiffany Harlow; six grandsons, Cody, Dusty, Brandon, Adam, and Shawn Hair, and Luie Nava; three great granddaughters, Marissa, Audrey, and Bristol, and a great grandson Eli.
