CHARLES ALBERT HARVEY
SHELBYVILLE, Mo. — Services for Charles Albert Harvey, 83, of Shelbyville, who died Monday (Dec. 15, 1969) in a Shelbyville rest home, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Greening Funeral Home in Shelbyville. The Rev. Glenn Cantrell will officiate and burial will be in Pleasant Prairie Cemetery.
Mr. Harvey was born March 17, 1886, in Shelby County, a son of Joseph and Alcinda Miles Harvey. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer, moving to Bethel following his retirement. He was married to Mahala Leona Tungate Aug. 6, 1913.
Surviving are the widow; three daughters, Mrs. Alberta Wood and Mrs. anna Daugherty, both of Bethel, and Mrs. Agnes Hawkins of LeMesa, Calif.; seven sons, Richard of Shelbina, Swain of Hunnewell, Lee Edward of Atlanta, James of Palmyra, Billy of East Moline, Ill., Donald of Independence and Lestel of Bloomington, Ind.; two brothers, Fred of San Diego, Calif., and James of Perry, Iowa; a sister, Mrs. Frances Norris of Clarence; 29 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
