"David W. Folsom, 63, Olathe, died April 18, 2000, at the home. Mr. Folsom was born Oct. 24, 1936, in Kansas City, Kan., and had lived in Wyandotte County before moving to Olathe in 1993. He played with several area bands during the 1960s and 1970s. He retired from Deffenbaugh Industries in 1996. He was a former member of Mission Creek Baptist Church, Edwardsville. He is survived by his wife, Daisy Folsom of the home; three sons, David Folsom of Kansas City, Joseph Folsom of Overland Park and Fred Folsom of Olathe; two daughters, Hazel Bailey of Shawnee and Davene McBride of Olathe; and nine grandchildren.
