WILLIAM "NATHAN" BYRD
October 16, 1862 ~ October 24, 1912

Name of Cemetery not included in Mr. Byrd's Obituary.
Nathan Byrd was listed as living in the Pollard Community, before the turn of the century. His photo was taken with a group of hunters in Pollard in 1907. The Pollard Cemetery Record Book does not list Nathan Byrd as being buried there, but the Record Book has a rather large number of "Unmarked" & "Unknown" Burials. I have not found any record of the cemetery Mr. Byrd is buried in. I will put his memorial in Pollard Cemetery since it seems he was living in Pollard shortly before he died.

PROMINENT FARMER DIES

W.N. Byrd, a prominent farmer living seven miles west of this city, died last Thursday with pneumonia. Mr. Byrd had only been sick a short time and all that could be done to elevate his suffering was done, but he succumb to the dreaded malady Thursday morning. Mr. Byrd was a good citizen and his death is regretted by all who knew him.
