Ruth A. Fritch, 93, of Reading, Pa., formerly of Nazareth, died April 12, 2006, at her residence. She was the widow of the late Rev. George W. Fritch Jr. She was born in Boyertown, a daughter of the late George and Anna (Stauffer) Adams. She was a 1934 graduate of Jefferson Medical College School of Nursing, Philadelphia, and from 1934 to 1939 was the nursing supervisor for Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia. She was a member of Schwarzwald Lutheran Church, Reading. Survivors: Two daughters, Mary E., wife of Darrell Phillips of Reading, with whom she resided, Lois S., wife of John Gakud of Philadelphia; three sons, James N. Fritch of East Greenville, Rev. Mark A. Fritch, Retired Col. Chaplain, U.S. Army, of Martinez, Georgia, Rev. John P. Fritch of Allentown; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Rev. David S. Fritch.

Services: Memorial, 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2006, Schwarzwald Lutheran Church, 250 Church Lane Rd., Reading. Interment at the convenience of the family in Jacobs Union Cemetery, New Tripoli. Arrangements, Nester Funeral Home, New Tripoli.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, to Schwarzwald Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, PA 19606.
