Morris' education consisted of Rio Honda High School, Howard Payne University, SW Baptist Theological Seminary, and TCU. He was ordained at Rio Hondo Baptist Church. After pastoring, Morris taught at the Masonic Home and School and retired from Richland Middle School. He was very active at Heritage Place Retirement Center. Morris treasured family and had a deep faith in God. He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet; parents, George and Nellie, brothers, Jim and Calvin. He was survived by his 3 sons, their wives, a daughter, 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, and his wife.
