Spc. Chad Marsh of Wichita was a 2005 Northwest High School graduate and became interested in military service when he joined the Junior ROTC program while in middle school. He also attended Benton Elementary and Wilbur Junior High. Starting in seventh grade, he was an active participant in the ROTC program and enlisted in the United States Army his junior year in high school. He was preceded in death by father, Keith Marsh, grandparents, Victor and Viola White, one grandparent, Tommy Marsh of Sun City. He was 20.
