Carol was the only child of Raymond B. Charboneau and his wife Millie Wosnick Charboneau. She attended school in the city of Chicago, graduating high school from there as well. Carol married Robert "Bobby" Fournier. There were no children born to this marriage. Carol was 21 years old when her life was cruely taken by a stranger on May 4, 1969. Her body was discovered on May 9, 1969, by her husband, who had just come home on military leave. She was declared deceased on May 10, by the Cook County Coroner. Carol's funeral took place in Chicago and her body was cremated at the Elm Lawn crematorium. Her ashes were given to a family member.
