Mrs. Patrick J. McCauley, 1305 Seymour Avenue, died at her home at 2 this morning after a lingering illness.

Her maiden name was Bridget Carroll and she was born in Utica, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael F. Carroll. She attended the public schools and was a member of St. Francis de Sales Church, Prior to her Illness she was active as a member of the Catholic Women's Club Division 6, Ancient Order of Hibernians and also of the Rosary Society of the church. She was married April 29, 1903.

Surviving are her husband, one sister. Margaret M. Carroll and a brother, Michael Carroll, all of Utica.

Mrs. Patrick J. McCauley, 1305 Seymour Avenue, died at her home yesterday morning after a lingering illness.

Bridget Carroll was born in Utica, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael F. Carroll. She was married to Mr. McCauley in 1903. Mrs. McCauley was a member of St. Francis de Sales Church. Prior to her illness she was active in the Catholic Women's Club Division 6 A.O.H. the Rosary Society of her parish.

Besides her husband she leaves a sister, Margaret M. Carroll, and a brother, Michael Carroll, Utica.

The funeral of Mrs. Patrick J. McCauley was held this morning from her home, 1305 Seymour Avenue, at 9 o'clock and at 9:30 at St. Francis de Sales church, where a solemn requiem high Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Paul Martineau, celebrant, the Rev. James Mulcahy deacon, and the Rev. Charles Oley, sub-deacon.

The bearers were: Andrew Ryan, Edward Graystone, Frank Cranley, John Lynch, Robert Cox and Patrick Keenan. Interment was in the family plot at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The Rev. Paul Martineau pronounced final absolution at the grave.
