Berry W. “Bill” Brooks, Jr., 79, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017.

He was a member of Belleview United Methodist Church in Smith Mills, Kentucky. Berry was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a licensed master electrician. He retired from Whirlpool after 37 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Berry W. and Mary Elizabeth Brooks; and one sister, Marylin Brooks.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Janice; two sons, Kelly Brooks and his wife, Darla, and Greg Brooks and his wife, Alicia, both of Henderson, Kentucky; one sister, Carole Tow of Henderson, Kentucky; one brother, Edwin Cary Brooks of Evansville, Indiana; five grandchildren, Travis Brooks and his wife, Brittney, Tyler Brooks, Tassidy Brooks, Christian Brooks, and Ashlee Brooks; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at noon Friday at Belleview United Methodist Church. The Reverend Steve Hale will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery with full military rites performed by American Legion Worsham Post No. 40.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home and after 10 a.m. Friday at the church.
