Ms. Mary Louise Carver Adams, age 76, of Douglas, passed away early Wednesday morning, May 31, 2017, at Shady Acres Health and Rehabilitation following an extended illness. Ms. Adams was born December 27, 1940 to the late Allen Carver and the late Maude Harrell Carver. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Tom Adams.
Ms. Adams was a native of Atkinson County. She had been employed as a personal care assistant having worked with Ms. Cloteel Lott for several years. She attended Harrell Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include: 1 Son: Thomas B. Adams, Jr. of Douglas, GA; 1 Brother: Rev. Alton Carver of West Green, GA; 1 Sister, Christine Jordan of Waycross, GA; Several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
The graveside service was held Friday, June 2, 2017, at 4:30 P. M. at Harrell Grove Church Cemetery with Rev. Alton Carver officiating.
Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
