Marilyn (Soup) Baugh Campbell, 70 years, of Naples, FL went Home to be with the Lord peacefully on May 25, 2017, with her loving family by her side.

Marilyn was born on November 24, 1946 in Columbus, OH to the late Samuel and Mary Hanover Baugh. Her brothers, Henry and David Baugh, preceded her in death. Marilyn was a member of Turkey Run Primitive Baptist Church where her grandfather preached. The church turned ownership over to the Historical Society of Ohio.

Marilyn married James Campbell in 1970 (46 years) at her parents' home. They lived in Ohio until the 1980's when they relocated to Naples, FL. They enjoyed the warmer weather and beaches that Naples had to offer.

Marilyn is survived by her husband James, their son Christopher (Kassandra), three grandchildren: Kaylee Marie, Kaylee Jo and C.J; brother, Samuel (Claudia) Baugh, and sister, Virginia (Ron) Haney. Marilyn will be remembered as a loving and nurturing wife, mother, grandmother, counselor, and friend to many and she will be dearly missed.

After graduating from Columbus South High School in 1964, Marilyn attended Ohio University where she earned her Master's in Guidance Counseling/Education. She worked in the education system for Ohio schools, in Florida for the David Lawrence Center, Florida Grant System, and retired from the Collier County School District in 2016. She loved working with children.

A Life Celebration Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at North Naples Baptist Church, 1811 Oakes Blvd, Naples, FL 34119. A luncheon reception will be held in fellowship hall immediately after the service. A burial service will be held at Reber Hill Cemetery, 16810 Winchester Rd., Ashville, OH 43103 date and time TBD.
