Dean was born June 9, 1952 in Cheyenne, WY to Dean and Beulah (Quador) Beebe. He attended most of his schooling in Cheyenne, WY and later graduated high school in Longmont, CA. Dean worked for Kearney Foundary before moving to Busnell, NE where he worked in the oil fields. He later returned to Kearney to work for Coleman Powermate and later Eaton Corporation until his retirement. Dean was united in marriage to Christina Cross on December 23, 1975. To this union two children were blessed.
Dean loved to spend time with his family, especially his granddaughters. He was a passionate Husker fan and an avid gun collector. In his younger years, you could find him coon hunting with his uncle Wayne.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Chris Beebe of Kearney; daughter, Julie (Bodie) Fuqua of Kearney; two granddaughters, Hailey and Sydney Fuqua of Kearney; sister Carol (Tom) Stimka; brothers-in-law, Michael (Jill) Cross, Thomas (Jo) Cross; mother-in-law, Kathryn Cross; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Dean was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeffrey Beebe; and father-in-law, Marvin Cross.
