Abi M. Atkinson, age 83 of Wilmington, DE, passed away May 11, 2017.

Raised in Elsinboro, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. & Naomi Miller Atkinson.

She is survived by her brother Russell Atkinson(Linda) of Quinton. She is predeceased by her siblings, Charles McMichael, Robert Atkinson, Thomas Atkinson, Clifford J. Atkinson, Naomi Magsam and June Leap. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and her many friends in Delaware.

After Salem High School she attended Goldey Beacom Business School under a work study program for Speakman Plumbing Mfg. Co., where she worked for 40 years. After retirement Abi worked as a greeter for Bellevue State Park in Delaware.

She was also active in the Business & Professional Women's Club and Republican Club of DE.

Graveside services will be held in Fernwood Cemetery, 794 Shiloh Pike, Bridgeton, NJ. Woodside Funeral Home Salem/Quinton, NJ
