Joan, age 83, passed away and found eternal life on Sunday. Joanie married Jim and they had just celebrated 60 years of marriage filled with love, they remain sweet hearts forever. Beloved mother of William (Mary Jean), Mary Jo (Rick) Goodman, Nancy (Mike) Briesemeister, and Marty (Connie). Proud grandma of Tim, Tom, and Brigid Cox, Katy, Carly, and Colleen Brennan. Dear sister of Marilyn (Bob) Hartmann, Nancy (John) Steigerwald, Virginia (George) Halaska, the late Joseph (Virginia) Brennan, Reverend William Brennan SJ, Kathleen Brennan, Terry (the late Mary Louise) Brennan and Eileen (the late Barney) McCullough. Joanie was a graduate of Holy Angels and Marquette University. She was a devoted elementary school teacher for MPS and she loved her bridge clubs. Joanie was a lifelong member of Christ King Parish. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday at Christ King Parish, Wauwatosa. Private cemetery services were held at a later date.
