Ela Mae Morris Painter, 95, of Boiling Springs, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at her residence.
Widow of Lonnie Painter; daughter of the late Starlin (Jack) B. Morris and Virdie G. Cash Morris.
Member of Fairforest Baptist Church; retired from the textile industry.
Survived by two sons, Jack Painter (Janice), Albert Painter (Sherrie) of Chesnee; two daughters, Willie Mae Horn of Pickens, Cathy E Tucker (Phillip) of Boiling Springs; brother, Marion Morris (Mary) of Inman; sister, Frances Johnson (Paul) of Gaffney; 16 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren.
Predeceased by two sons, Louis Painter and Ernest Painter; six brothers, Keisler, James, Harley, Bill, Toby, Smith Morris; and two sisters, Maggie Blanton and Rebecca Blanton
Funeral service was held 3:15 P.M., Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Eggers Funeral Home Chapel of Boiling Springs, officiated by the Dr. Brent Dowis. Burial followed in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
The family received friends one hour prior to the funeral service.
