Rita A. Johnson, age 56 of Dandridge, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Willie Mae Godfrey Shell; sisters, JoAnn Shell, Shirley (Jimmy) Cameron, and Bernice Kinser; brothers, Jack Shell, Gene Shell, and Ralph Shell; and brother-in-law, Tommy Lillard.

She is survived by her boyfriend, Victor Edmonds; daughter, Chastity Turner (Troy Lorentzen); brothers, Freddy Shell (Melinda Ownby Gibbs), Richard (Betty) Shell, and Donnie (Doris) Shell; sister, Yvonne Lillard; sister-in-law, Cordelia Shell; brother-in-law, Roger Kinser; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
