SISTER CORA CASSUTT, OSB Sister Cora Cassutt, OSB, who had been a member of the community of Benedictine sisters for 37 years, died Thursday morning at St. Mary's hospital, Minneapolis. She was born Oct. 20, 1887, in Ramona, S. D., the fifth child in a family of 11. Cornelia Cassutt made her vows at St. Benedict's July 11, 1923. More than 25 years of Sister Cora's religious life was spent at St. Cloud hospital in the capacity of nurse. In 1931-39 Sister was in charge of the operating room at St. Alexius hospital, Bismarck, N.D. The past years she has been at the motherhouse. Surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Sister Othmarine, OSB, St. Placid Prior, Olympia, Wash.; Mrs. N. A. Mosher, Mott, N.D.; John and William Cassutt, Madison, S.D.; Matt, Ramona, S.D., and George, Winona. The solemn mass of requiem will be offered at St. Benedict's Saturday at 9 a.m. Preceding the mass the office of the dead will be read at 8 a.m.
