Chelsey Rebecca Parcell, beloved wife, mother, aunt, sister, and friend passed away at her home on June 5th 2017, at the tender age of 26, after fighting a courageous battle with thyroid cancer.

Chelsey was born June 11, 1990 to Robby and Janica Burgener. Chelsey was the big sister of three younger brothers, Chase Burgener, Cole Burgener, and Crew Burgener. Chelsey spent most of her childhood alongside her brothers fishing, camping, and playing night games. She always had a house full of friends and a plate full of nachos.

Chelsey graduated from Wasatch High School in 2008. She attended Utah Valley University and studied medical assisting. Following graduation she started working for Dr. Dave Larsen at Summit Pediatrics and absolutely loved it!

On August 22, 2009 Chelsey married her sweetheart Shane Parcell. Together they have three beautiful children, Carley Shane, Mack Preston, and Blake Hope. Chelsey’s passion in life was being a mother. She was able to spend lots of time preparing when she was young by helping “mother” her brothers growing up. Chelsey’s most favorite time was spent with her family. She loved camping, swimming, spending time in St. George, going on ranger rides to catch frogs, playing at the park, crafting with the kids, cooking and baking treats. She also loved watching her kids ride horses and enjoying the animals at their grandpas.

Anybody who knew her came to love her sweet unselfish spirit. Chelsey had the most contagious laugh and was so much fun to be around. To know her was to love her! She will forever be in our hearts!

Chelsey is survived by her husband Shane; children Carley, Mack and Blake; parents Robby and Janica Burgener; brothers Chase (McKayla), Cole, and Crew; many grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by her little sister Carley, mother-in-law Liz Palmier, and brother-in-law Preston Parcell.

A viewing will be held at Heber Valley Funeral Home (288 North Main Street, Heber, UT) Wednesday June 7, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 8, 2017 at the Midway Town Hall (120 West Main Street, Midway, Utah) with a viewing prior from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Midway City Cemetery.
