Karen Brown, 78, of Davenport, Florida, formerly of Danbury, Connecticut, died June 6, 2017 at Florida Hospital, Orlando, following a brief illness. Private services will be conducted at a later date.
Karen Nancy Boughton was born May 1, 1939 in Danbury, Connecticut, the daughter of Robert Wilson and Eleanor Seymour (Bonadio) Boughton. She graduated from Bethel High School, class of 1957. After graduation, Karen worked for Rabbi Jerome Molino at the United Jewish Center, Hotel Green, Savings Bank of Danbury, and later was a legal secretary in the law office of Louis A. DeFabritis .
On June 1, 1968 she married Gary J. Brown in Danbury. They owned and operated Danbury Business Forms and General Business Forms. The couple moved to Florida in 2001, residing in Jupiter, Celebration and Davenport.
Karen is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband, Gary; daughter Kim (Mark) Heinrich, Celebration, Florida; and granddaughter Kerstin Heinrich, Stanford, California.
The family recommends memorial contributions in Karen's honor be made to ASPCA or pet rescue organization of your choice.
