On last Sunday morning James Hendricks, brother of the late Vice President, and the only surviving member of the Hendricks family, died at his home in Shelbyville, of lung fever. He was about fifty-six years of age; he was a gallant Union soldier.

James Hendricks, a brother of the late Vice-President Thomas A. Hendricks, died at his home in Shelbyville, last Saturday morning, after a three weeks illness of lung fever, aged fifty-six years. He is the last survivor of the Hendricks family and the third to die within the last year.
