Gordon J. Nooker, age 86, of Two Rivers, died Saturday evening, June 3, 2017 at Manitowoc Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.Gordon was born May 29, 1931, in the town of Gibson, son of the late Bernard and Wilhelmina (Coenen) Nooker. He was a graduate of Mishicot High School with the class of 1949. On October 27, 1954 he married Emma Maas at Emanuel United Methodist Church, Two Rivers. Gordon was employed with Hamilton Mfg. of Two Rivers for 39 years retiring from the Stainless Steel Layout Dept. He was a member of the Lakeshore Beagle Club. Survivors include his wife: Emma Nooker, Two Rivers; five sons and three daughters-in-law: Gerald and Dorie Nooker, Sheboygan; Robert Nooker, Green Bay; Paul and Janet Nooker, Green Bay, Ricky Nooker, Two Rivers; Patrick and Cheryl Nooker, Green Bay; eight grandchildren: Geoffrey Nooker; Rachel (Shawn) Vandevelde; Kyle (Sarah) Nooker; Adam (Jillian) Nooker, Eric, Michael, Justin and Chelsea Nooker; one great grandson Jackson Vandevelde; one sister: Bernice Nuhlicek, town of Carlton, Kewaunee County; one brother-in-law: Albert Maas, Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law: Malinda Maas, Two Rivers; and Virginia Maas, Brillion. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.He was preceded in death by one son, Randy; one brother and sister-in-law: Donald and Dorothy Nooker; two brothers-in-law: Richard Nuhlicek, Gerhardt Maas; and two sisters-in-law: Martha Bergelin and Laura Kostrewski.Private family services were held on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at the Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service was Rev. Carly Kuntz. Entombment took place at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
