Funeral services will be held from the Jones Funeral home Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock for Salinda B. King who died of heart trouble in Fort Wayne Thursday morning. The Rev. R.C. Plank of the First Methodist church of Wabash will officiate. #Burial will be made in Falls cemetery.
Salina B. King, 91, the daughter of George Myers and Sarah Vertrerss Myers, was born Sept. 1, 1849 in Wabash. Her marriage to Mitchell H. King occurred in the year 1871.
She is the last of a family of eight children. She had lived in Wabash county her entire life until three years ago when she moved to Fort Wayne where she lived with her daughter, Mrs. Howard Smith. She was a member of the Presbyterian church. Her husband died November 1933.
Mrs. King is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Howard Smith, 1229 Home Avenue, Fort Wayne, and a son, Orville King, formerly of Marion, and five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Cause of death: Chronic myocarditis.
