James Dean Kidd, age 54 years, of Stearns, Kentucky died June 8, 2017 in Somerset, Kentucky at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born July 14, 1962 in Oneida, Tennessee the son of Ewell Dean and Betty Lou (Hughes) Kidd. James had been a truck driver for Southern Belle Dairy. He enjoyed playing with his grandbaby, street bikes, 4 wheelers, hunting, fishing, wrestling. He was a great husband, father, pappy, and friend.
His parents and sister, Peggy Lee Morrow precede him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Carol (Crabtree) Kidd; son, Robert Dean Kidd of Stearns, Kentucky, daughter, Stacie Rebecca Troxell and husband, Tyler of Marshes Siding, Kentucky; sisters, Pamela Lois Griffis and husband Tim and Patricia Lynn Kidd both of Stearns, Kentucky; and granddaughter, Kaylen Rebecca Troxell.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 12, 2017 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro, Jason Kates officiating.  Burial to follow in the Angel Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11am Monday at the funeral home.
