Franklin J. Upp, of Jacksonville, formerly of Springfield, died at 11:29 p.m. Friday at the Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville.

He formerly was employed at Allis-Chalmers Manufacturing Co.

Surviving are several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Williamson Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
