He was a Colbert County native, a member of the Alabama Cattlemen Association, Alabama Onsite Wastewater Association, VFW, and DAV. He was the owner of LeFan Construction for 29 years and was a cattle farmer.
Mr. LeFan was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War in the 2nd , 42nd , and 4th Infantry Division.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Elaine LeFan; parents, Carl and Gladys LeFan; brothers, Wrenfro LeFan, Carl Edward LeFan, Jerry LeFan, and Joe LeFan; and sister, Glenda Aldridge.
Survivors include his wife, Carla Wadkins LeFan; son, Daniel “Bubba” LeFan (Gina); daughters, Melissa LeFan Lauck and Marsha LeFan Summers (Jamie); sister, Martha Simpson, nine grandchildren; Dylan Lauck (Brittney), Elayna Lauck, Nicole Borden (Jason), Trey LeFan, Tyler LeFan, Abby Grace Summers, Noah Summers, Ethan Summers, and Draven LeFan.
Pallbearers will be Andy Woods, Dylan Lauck, Todd Shook, Dale Woods, Tony Maxwell, Dr. Larry Stutts, Trey LeFan, and Dr. Andre Taylor. Grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.
