Phillip Wayne, Sr., 79, of Louisville, passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 8, 2017.
Phillip was born in Stearns, KY to the late James Andrew and Bess Ellen Wright Lockhart.
He was a member of the Jeffersontown Lodge #774, Kosair Shrine, Elks Lodge #8, and a KY Colonel. Phillip was a KY Real Estate Broker for over 60 years, the proud owner of Louisville Marine and Minuteman Press in DuPont Circle and his beloved “farm” in Stearns, KY.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Patricia Meredith Lockhart, four sons, Phillip, Jr. (Tracey), Christopher (Maureen), Andrew, John (Nikki); sister, Rebecca Keith; brother, Larry Lockhart; and ten grandchildren. Phillip was loved by a host of life-long friends, nieces, nephews, and colleagues.
A graveside service will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 13 in Wright Cemetery, Whitley City, KY.
