Jean was a faithful member of the Native American Church, Catholic Church and traditional beliefs. She liked to bead, sewing powwow regalia, silversmith and to do her pottery. She was also known as a southern traditional Powwow dancer. That was given to her by the Comanche Tribe of Oklahoma.
She is survived by her children, Cassandra George (Bennett) of Farmington, Chassidy Dee (Paul) of Farmington, Evander Dee of Albuquerque, Craig Dee of Albuquerque and Chelsey Dee of Farmington; parents, Raymond Atcitty and Annabelle Atcitty; and Friend, Billison Pablo; ex-husband, Wallace Dee; and brothers and sisters, Alfred Ayze (Renee) of Mojave Valley, Ariz., Arlene Ayze (Bobby) of Teec Nos Pos, Ariz., Edwin Ayze (Carolyn) of Farmington, Kathleen Atcitty of Albuquerque,
Randy Atcitty (Stephanie) of Farmington, Sharon Jackson (Harrison) of Farmington, Ronnie Atcitty (Lori) of Farmington, Ronald Atcitty of Albuquerque, Bobby Ayze of Salt Lake City, Utah, Judith Kinlicheenie (Art) of Farmington, Kris K. Kinlicheenie of Farmington and Darva Kinlicheenie of Farmington.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Voncille Victor; uncles, Rodger Victor and Rudy Victor; aunts, Lucille Benally and Jayne Ann Kinlicheene; son, Wayse Dee; brothers, Clarence Ayze and O.J. Ayze; and sister, Elaine Chavez.
The Pallbearers are Ronald Atcitty, Randy Atcitty, Edwin Ayze, Kenneth Victor, Jermain Bileen and Brian Ayze.
Honorary Pallbearers are Cassandra George, Chassidy Dee, Evander Dee, Craig Dee, Chelsey Dee and Isaiah George.
Funeral Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at The World Harvest Center, 1024 N. Butler Ave. in Farmington, with Pastor Freddy Hall officiating. Interment with be at Memory Gardens in Farmington.
