Sandra Ellen Rybicki, 46, of Sterling Heights, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, in her home. She was born Oct. 11, 1960, in Augsburg, Germany.
Miss Rybicki was a graduate of Stevenson High School in Sterling Heights and had later attended medical assistant classes. She was a member of VFW Post 1794 Ladies Auxiliary, Mount Clemens.

Her family said she had been ill for some time but prior to her illness, she had a zest for life. She loved music, dance and the arts.

Relatives described her as artistically inclined. She enjoyed nature, puzzles, tricks, games, and her birds and dogs. She had a great interest in the medical field.

Her family said she will be missed by all who knew her.

Miss Rybicki is survived by her father, Eugene Rybicki; sisters, Evelyn (Steve) Mills and Susan (Steve) Ferus-Mancuso; nieces, Sarah Giovannangeli and Laura Reif of New Hampshire; nephews, Jason Mills and Eric Ferus (her godchild); great-nephews, Brandon, Jared, Joshua, Caleb, Edward Rybicki Jr., Peter Mayer of Arizona, and Michael Mayer of California; and aunts and uncles, Edward and Marilyn Rybicki, and Wilhelm and Hilda Mayer of Arizona.

She was predeceased by her mother, Gisela Rybicki, on Dec. 24, 2000.

A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at E.J. Mandziuk & Son Funeral Directors, 3801 18 Mile Road (at Ryan), Sterling Heights, with the Rev. Wallace Zink officiating. Visitation is 2-9 p.m. Wednesday.
