William E. Flock, Jr., 83, died Friday in the Hospice House North, Cape Coral, Florida.Born and raised in Allentown, N.J., he was a resident of West Windsor, NJ, the Cairo/Moberly, MO area and a part-time resident of Cape Coral, FL. He was a farmer in West Windsor, NJ and Cairo, Missouri. He was involved in the New Jersey and Missouri Farm Bureaus and former President of the New Jersey Tomato Growers Association. A former member, Deacon and President of the Board of Trustees at Dutch Neck Presbyterian Church in Princeton Junction. He was a member of and served the Cairo/Jacksonville Christian Church in Missouri. He was an avid bowler, softball champion/MVP and won several championship Senior Citizen World Series softball tournaments throughout the US.Son of the late W. Earl Sr and Mollie, brother of the late Carolyn West Duryea. He is survived by his wife Ruth Mather Flock, three daughters and two sons-in-law Barbara and Donald Benedetti of Chesterfield, NJ, Mollie and Bruce Foster of Davenport, IA, Patricia Jane Flock and partner Sheila Mielcarek of Phoenix, AZ., three sons and one daughter-in-law William III "Skip" and Kathy Flock of Cairo, MO, Richard Mather Flock of Trenton, NJ, Harry Herbert Flock of Moberly, MO., and a sister and brother-in-law Elizabeth Jane and Frank Jones of Bridgewater, NJ, 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Arrangements are under the direction of The Mather-Hodge Funeral Home Princeton.
