Popular Great Northern Engineer Dies at Hill Fair
Havre, Sept 1--Frank C Webster, well-known and popular Great Northern engineer, died suddenly shortly after 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from a heart attack which seized him at the fairgrounds. Death came before a hospital could be reached.

The funeral will be held at 2pm Friday at the Presbyterian church with the Rev Conrad Wellen officiating.

Webster's death came as a terrific shock, not only to his family but to the entire community. Never ill, no one suspected that he had any heart ailment. He and Mrs Webster and other members of the family were attending the fair. Mr Webster and two companions had left the others in the grandstand and had gone to watch a race. Walking with his companions, he collapsed. A physician and nurse came at once and he was brought to Havre, a highway patrol car clear the way, but he passed away enroute.

Frank C Webster was born in Litchfield, IL, son of Marion and Sarah Webster. He was married June 12, 1921, in Havre to Miss Edith Barnhill, a Havre teacher. There are no children.

He entered the employ of the Great Northern in Sep 1913. This summer he had been holding a run between Cut Bank and Shelby, and was at home for the fair. Mr Webster bore a close resemblance to Will Rogers, both in looks and humor. His cheerful and humorous disposition had drawn him to scores of friends, among his railroad fellow workmen, among young men and children, and his fellow citizens in general.

Surviving relatives include his wife; five sisters, Mrs Ethel Gould of Crescent, OK; Mrs Marguerite Clow of Cleo Springs, OK; Mrs Carrie Doctor, Mrs Nellie Tucker and Mrs Jennie Chaffee, all of Alva, OK; and four brothers, Orley G Webster of Topeka, KS; Delber Webster of Cherokee, OK; Dewey Webster of Alva, and Dr Marion Webster of Dallas, Texas.
