Mary, my great grandmother, was the daughter of Matthew Ryan and ????

She had a brother Frank. Born in Fort Hamilton, Brooklyn, NY

She met and married Pell* (1856-1917) on Feb. 25, 1884 in Winchendon, MA and settled in East Rindge, NH. There, seven of her twelve children were born: William (1885-1962), Margaret (1886-1930), Warren (1887-1974), Francis* (1888-1960), James* (1889-1973), Richard (1890-1971), Matthew (1892-1970).

In 1895 they relocated to Ticonderoga, NY where Pell was born. There the following were born to Mary and Pell: Daniel (1895-1960), Beatrice (1897-1930), Amelia Louise (1899-1920), Edward (1904-1982), Clarence Paul (1905-1981).

Mary was a homemaker with a large family, married to a farmer. She spent the rest of her life in the Street Road home where she and Pell taught much to their children. Many summer evenings brought music from the Arthur home to most of Street Road. The Arthur Street Road home was in the family since the 1700s.

The last Arthur to live there was Margaret* (1886-1930). The house was built by Francis Arthur* (1774-1859). It was sold to Arthur Carr, whose family lived there until the early 1980s.
