GLASGOW--Helen Janzen Borgen Abraham, 79, died Wednesday in a Glasgow hospital of natural causes.
The funeral is 2 p.m. today in Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Nashua, with burial in Highland Cemetery in Glasgow. Bell Mortuary of Glasgow is in charge.
Abraham was born Sept. 26, 1914, in Chinook. She lived in many areas in northern Montana and North Dakota. On July 24, 1933, she married Gerhard Borgen in Glasgow. Her husband, mother and son, Verlin, died in an automobile accident in 1955. She then moved to Wolf Point where she worked at the Sherman Motel and the hospital. She moved to Nashua in 1973 where she has lived since.
She was a member of the Glasgow Senior Citizens and enjoyed gardening, flowers and needlework.
Surviving are two sons, two sisters, two brothers, nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.--Great Falls Tribune, June 25, 1994, Pg. 2B
