Joseph L. Mattis, Jr., of Wellsboro, PA, died Sunday, June 11, 2017 at his home. He was a son of Joseph L. and Virginia Mattis.
Joseph was head of the Maintenance Department at Soldiers & Sailors Hospital before his retirement.
Joseph is survived by three daughters, Trina Pope of Osceola, PA, Marie (Bill) Woodring of Westfield, PA, Brenda Mattis of Clark Summit, PA; 2 brothers, Ray and Robert Mattis; 3 sisters, Diane, Michelle, and Debbie; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents; a son, Joseph L. "Schmoe" "Joey" Mattis, III in January 2009, and a brother, David Mattis.
Burial will be in Tioga County Memorial Gardens, Mansfield, PA.
