Born in St. Louis, Missouri, he moved with his family to Beverly Hills, California. Graduated West Point, he served in the Air Force during the Korean conflict. He was a successful owner and operator of movie theaters until retirement. Predeceased by his wife, Diane Mellos, and survived by his beloved wife and soul mate, Coco Irvine, his children Charles P. Skouras III and Christianna Berke, grandchildren Charles IV and Marielle Skouras, and a great-grandchild, Charles V. Funeral services Friday, June 16 at 11 AM at St. Sophia Cathedral, 1324 Normandie Ave., Los Angeles. Interment private.
