Donald Ray Eanes, of Elliston, went to be with the lord on Monday, June 12, 2017 at the age of 72.
Don worked for Hedge Metal Company for 23 years and an auctioneer for 15. His passion and love was horses
. Donald was preceded in death by his loving wife of 25 years Rose Eanes; daughter, Robin Denise Eanes; and his parents, Charlie and Claudy Eanes.
He is survived by his daughter, Marie and David Paulley; son, Donnie Eanes and girlfriend Deanna Maxey; his grandchildren, David Brown, Brittany, Dillion, Dakota, Danica, Dalelena, Dalton and Dawson Eanes.
Also, left to cherish his memory are his sister, Lois Bean; brother, Kyle and Brenda Eanes, Mike Eanes, Freddie and Teresa Eanes and numerous nieces and nephews.
Also, the family would like to say a special thank you to his beloved friends, Pam and Charlie Price and Johnny and Rita Harrah for their lifetime of friendship.
Funeral Services will be held, 11 a.m., Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Elliston Church of God with Pastor Delores Caldwell officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Cemetery Roanoke, Va.
