Theresa J. Meade, 91, of 27 Ham St., died Sunday, September — at Dover Rehab and Living Center following a long illness.
Born in Dover March 10, 1911, she was the daughter of John J. and Mary A. (Parle) Casey.
Mrs. Meade was a homemaker and was a member of St. Mary’s Church. She was a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary and AARP. Mrs. Meade enjoyed the challenge of crossword puzzles.
Family members include one daughter Veronica 'Ronnie' Willard and her husband Richard R. Willard of Somersworth; one brother John J. Casey and his wife Marjorie of Rochester; four grandchildren, Karyn T. McBride and her husband Mike of Rochester, Bonnie M. Siranian and her husband Tim of Dover, James F. McGreal of Milton and Randy M. Willard and his wife Lara of Somersworth; four great grandchildren, Corey and Aaron McBride, Kyle Siranian and Robert Roche-Willard; one great great grandchild, Jace McBride; two godchildren, Edward Joyle, Jr. and Edwina Fogarty; nieces and nephews and her friend and travel companion, Pauline Desautel of Dover.
Mrs. Meade was the widow of Frederick J. Meade who died August 14, 1985 and was also predeceased by five sisters, Elizabeth Turcotte, Annie Casey, Catherine Delucca, Margaret Joyal, and Mildred Turner; and a brother, James Casey.
A funeral service was conducted at the Tasker Funeral Home with The Reverend Fritz Cerullo, OSA, pastor officiating. Burial followed in St. Mary New Cemetery.
