Born in Chowchilla, CA in 1944, Patricia (known as Patsy) was a vibrant, smart and transparent woman. When the family moved to Los Angeles Patsy attended schools in the Compton Unified School District and earned an Associates Degree from Compton Community College.

Patsy married Lawrence Boyd in 1964 and their marriage resulted in the birth of two daughters, Patrice and Lawrence-Mignon, known as Pumpkin. Two sons were also born; both died in infancy. This marriage ended in divorce.

She later married Glenn Daniels and had a son, Jason. The marriage ended when Glenn passed away.

Patsy was a civil servant, working for the County of Los Angeles as a deputy-marshall and for the county Health Department. After retiring, she opened her own bail bonds business co-owned by her daughter and friend, Patrice.

On May 26, 2017, Patsy was driving with her daughter Patrice and grandson Jeremiah to a family reunion. While exiting the freeway an accident ensued, killing Patrice instantly and seriously injuring Jeremiah and Patsy. Patsy died from her injuries 2 weeks later.

Patsy enjoyed her life, loved her family and loved God. Hers was a life well-lived.
