Alice Evelyn McComb, 94, resident of Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Fostoria, died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012. She was born July 29, 1918, in Washington Township, to Harvey and Lalia (Fox) Wilcox. She was raised by her grandfather, John E. Fox. She married Edward G. McComb June 17, 1938, in Fostoria, and he preceded her in death June 30, 1971. She is survived by a son, William (Janet) McComb of Fostoria, and two grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, John Wilcox; and two sisters, Maxine Warren and Geraldine Davis. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at the Veteran's Memorial Chapel at Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria, with the Rev. Michael Malcosky officiating. Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
