    Betty Sue (Duffie) Robinson, 77, Joplin, MO passed away, June 17, 2017 at the Joplin Gardens after a long illness.

  Betty Sue Duffie was Born February 2, 1940 in May, MO the daughter of George Washington and Neola Bell (Hance) Duffie. She was a home maker and enjoyed crocheting, reading, reminiscing and especially word search books.  She formerly attended Sycamore Chapel United Methodist Church in Wyandotte.  Betty met the love of her life Vernon Lee Robinson at the former Chuck Wagon Café’ in Seneca, MO.  They were married January 22, 1960 in Miami, OK. Vernon preceded her in death June 6, 1986.

  Survivors include three children; Renee’ Martin, Seneca, Rhonda Robinson, Joplin and Dennis Robinson, Park Springs, TX; 5 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

  Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, Norma Jean Cook, two great-grandchildren, Johnathan and Aubrey Robinson, nephew Terry Cook and great-nephew Adam Cook.

  The family will receive friends from 9-10 am, Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at the Sycamore Chapel United Methodist Church.  Funeral services will follow at 10:00 am with Rev Jon Bates officiating.  Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Arrangements under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.

  The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the angels of Regional Hospice, Joplin, MO.
