The above is Contributed by Cindy Gaskill - 4th great granddaughter of "Black" Adam Zumwalt. More information will be added.
We found a record for a rural grave on his league of land which lay across both Fayette and Gonzales counties. He was buried on the county line on Zumwalt Prairie. We searched for a headstone but could not find one. Perhaps he was buried in the small cemetery on the property but we could not prove it.
