GREENVILLE, Texas — Janet Lucille Arnett Armoto, 69, of Greenville, passed away on Friday, Feb. 9, of colon cancer.
Her husband, Nicholas L. Armoto Sr., 69, of Greenville also passed away at their residence Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2007.
After being united for nearly 51 years, they were called home to be with the Lord.
She was the daughter of Wayne and Lila Arnett. Sister to the late Hope Arnett Smith, Gerald Arnett, Carol Arnett Golding, Patty Arnett Leonard and Jeanne Arnett Wait.
She was 'Aunt Janney' to most, sister to few, a friend to all who knew her and a very precious mother to us. She took such great care of her family and her husband, she gave her heart into everything that she did and she taught us all that God was first in her life, by living His example.
They had 4 children, Nick, Jr. (died in 1991) Kimberly Jane Armoto Dahl(David), Robin Teresa Armoto and Michelle Pearson (Andy). 6 grandchildren: Heather Dahl Grotjahn, David Dahl, Jr., Niiki Armoto Browning, Jonathan Britton, Jerah Hutchins and Matt Pearson. 4 great-grandchildren: Charlie Casey, Caitlyn Casey, Bradley Browning and Jordan Browning.
A memorial service will be held in their honor from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at Concordia Ballroom, 1129 La Crosse St., La Crosse, (608) 782-7049.
