Herman R. Walker - Graveside services for Herman R. Walker, 56, of Salisbury, NC., husband of a former Nashvillian, will be at 10 a.m., Saturday at Spring Hill Cemetery. Funeral services will be today in Salisbury. The body will arrive at 3 p.m. tomorrow at Eastland Funeral Home, 904 Gallatin Road. Walker died Tuesday in Salisbury. A native of Knoxville, he married the former Clara Phillips. She survives. Walker was an employee of the circulation department of the Charlotte Observer. Other survivors are a son, William of Atlanta; a brother, B. Earl of Knoxville; two sisters, Mrs. Horace Pruett of Whitesburg, TN., and Mrs. Iva Buffalo of Knoxville; and two grandchildren.
