Martha V. Bad, 73, of 3416 East 45th terrace, died Sunday at the home.She was born in Whitesville, ky., and lived in this area 40 years. Mrs. Bad leaves a son, Clarence B. Locke, Kansas City; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Longan, Prairie Village, and Mrs. Mary Gurley, Kansas City; five brothers, Burlin Gray, Woodrow Gray, and William Gray, of Chillicothe, Mo.; John Gray, Bogard, Mo.; and Robert Gray, West Chester, Iowa; three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Callaway, Sumner, Mo.; Mrs. Olivia Mattingly, Owensboro, Ky.; and Mamie Patrick, West Chester; thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Floral Hills chapel; burial in Green Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the chapel.
