Fred A. Bad. 81, of 3416 E. 45th Terrace, died Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Hospital. He born in Trieste, Italy, and had lived here 50 years. Mr. Bad had worked for the James W. Weldon Laboratory Inc., 30 years and later was a part time employee of the Commerce Bank of Kansas City before he retired in 1972. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Martha V. Bad of the home; one stepson, Clarence B. Locke, Kansas City; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Betty Longan, Prairie Village, and Mrs. Mary Gurley, Kansas City; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Floral Hills Chapel; burial in Green Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at the chapel.
