Mrs. Esther M. Traeger, 66, of Springfield, died Thursday at Memorial Medical Center. She was the daughter of Gottleid and Martha Stephens Netznik. She was employed by the Sangamo Electric Co., working there for more than 29 years. She later was employed by the state Driver's License Division.
Mrs. Traeger married Charles A. Traeger in 1938. She was preceded in death by two brothers, William and George.
Surviving are her husband, Charles A.; one son, Charles R. Traeger; one daughter, Mrs. Janet Schick; two brothers, Walter Netznik and Robert Netznik; six sisters, Ann Aubrey, Ruth Pinchard, Dorothy Canfield, Alice Wallner, Helen Gonzales; two grandchildren.
Services at St. John's Lutheran Church. Burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
