Genevieve Richter
Former Greene County resident from Ohio
Genevieve Richter, 78, of Painesville, Ohio, formerly of Greene County, died Tuesday, February 7, 2006, in her home.
She was born November 27, 1927, in Alvy, W.Va., a daughter of John B. and Temperence Ellen Cohen Gaines and was a resident of the Painesville area since 1949.
Mrs. Richter was last employed in the housekeeping department at Lake Erie College.
On April 29, 1949, she married Richard Sherwood Richter, who died in 1983.
Surviving are three sons, a daughter, a sister, eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law.
Deceased are a daughter, Brenda Richter; a brother; two half brothers; two sisters; and three half sisters.
