George William Moore was born 26 January 1885 to Sarah Jane Carlile Moore and Caleb Moore. He was born in Heber City, Wasatch, Utah Territory, United States. After his parents divorce, he lived with his mother and other siblings in Heber City. He later moved to Salt Lake City with his mother and worked. He lived with his mother until her death in 1939. He died in Millcreek, Salt Lake, Utah. He is buried in the Heber City Cemetery.
